The 99 Beautiful Names/Attributes of Allah

In the Qur’an, Allah describes Himself as the True God—the one and only Creator, the Master and King of all worlds, and the Originator of everything.
Allah is alone, unique, independent, and indivisible—beyond all comparison. There is nothing like Him. He has no partner or helper; He was neither born nor does He give birth, and He has no parents, children, or family. While everyone is dependent on Him, He is independent and free of all needs.
Allah is Eternal, Ever-Living, and Self-Sustaining- the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful, encompassing all mercy and kindness. He is the Almighty, the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper, the Supreme in Might, the Majestic King, the All-Wise, and the Sovereign of all creation. He is the Most Holy—free from all imperfections—and the Watcher over everything in the heavens and the earth. Allah is the Ultimate Ruler and Sustainer. He alone is worthy of worship—the Most High, the Greatest, and the All-Perfect. He is capable of everything. There is nothing like Him; therefore, no image, picture, painting, sculpture, or idol should be made of Him, nor should any partners be associated with Him in worship.

Who Are Believers and Disbelievers?

God has sent His final message — the Qur’an — to humanity through Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Those who believe in Allah, worship Him alone, follow the teachings of His Messenger, and live in obedience are called Believers (Muslims). Those who deny Allah and His Messenger, worship false gods, and live in disobedience are called Disbelievers/Deniers.

The Journey of the Soul: Life, Death, Afterlife, Day of Judgement, Rewards & Punishments

Have you ever wondered why human beings come into this world, live for a few years, and then die? What really happens after death—and how will this world ultimately end?

According to the Qur’an, death is not the end of a human being. It is simply the transition of the soul from one world to another. This worldly life is a test, a temporary phase to determine who chooses obedience and righteousness over desire and heedlessness, and here we are unaware of the unseen realities—we cannot see God, His angels, or the next world. But the moment a person dies, their test ends, and the unseen becomes visible. The soul sees the angels who come to take it, and the journey into the afterlife begins. After death, souls enter an intermediate realm called Barzakh. In this stage, believing and obedient souls will be kept in peace, while disbelieving and disobedient souls will face punishment. However, this phase is temporary and continues until Qiyamah (The Day of Judgement).

Qiyamah is a day promised by Allah in the Qur’an. On that day, this world will be destroyed, and every human and jinn who ever lived on earth will be brought back to life and gathered together. It will be a day of ultimate justice, where Allah—the Supreme Judge—will hold each soul accountable for its deeds. Those who believed in Allah, followed His messengers, and lived a life of obedience will be admitted into Paradise, where they will live forever in joy and peace. Those who rejected the truth, lived in arrogance and disobedience, and ignored the message will be cast into Hell as punishment for their denial.

Death of Believers: Angels Arrive with the Good News of Paradise

Qur’an : Chapter-41 Verse: 30-33

When Death Approaches the Disbelievers, They Will Cry: ‘My Lord, Send Me Back!’

On the Day of Judgement, Allah will raise everyone back to life and weigh their deeds on a scale of justice. Those whose scale of good deeds is heavy will be the successful ones and will be granted eternal bliss in Paradise. But those whose scale is light—whose evil deeds outweigh their good—will face loss and be cast into Hell as a just punishment for their denial and disobedience.

Allah Mentions the Names of Previous Messengers (Prophets)

Qur’an : Chapter-4 Verse: 163-170

Allah has sent many messengers throughout human history to guide people to the truth, but in the Qur’an He has mentioned only 25 of them by name. Every nation and community was sent a messenger with the same core message—to worship Allah alone and follow His guidance. Among them was Prophet Jesus – Son of Mary (peace be upon him), who was the second to last messenger. The last and final messenger is Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who was sent around 1,450 years ago as a mercy and guide for the entire world.

The End of This World and the Establishment of the Day of Judgment

Qur’an : Chapter-14 Verse: 47-52

Rewards for the Believers and Punishments for the Deniers

On the Day of Judgement, believers who obeyed Allah and His Messenger and whose good deeds are heavy will receive their record in their right hand—they are the successful and will enter Paradise to dwell there forever. But disbelievers, who denied the Qur’an and disobeyed Allah and His Messenger, will receive their record in their left hand—they are the losers and will be cast into Hell for punishment.
